Fan Expo was Amazing; Beware of Frog sold out!!

Fan Expo a huge success.

WOW! After four days of hard work and endless talking we have returned home with significantly less stock and even less of our voices. It was great meeting so many cool and interesting people from all parts of the industry! We were amazed at how many return customers we had from previous years. Thank you to everyone who helped make this the best Fan Expo yet!

Lara has finally finished the monumentous task of wading through our vast collection of photos to post them on our Facebook page. Hopefully you are in there! Please go forth and tag yourself and your friends so that everyone knows they are true fans!

Beware of Frog sold out.

Just as exciting was the sale of our final book! The first printing of Beware of Frog is now officially gone. Every copy we printed has found a home to love it. We are overjoyed! It took three weeks to sell 100 copies. This exceeded even our highest expectations! We are now arranging for a second printing and hope to have more copies available by October. For those of you who have pre-ordered be patient the Frog is coming!

Thank you again to everyone, your support has been astounding and as always greatly appreciated.

Book Launch a huge success.

54 copies sold!

Jaded Dragon Studios would like to send a thank you to everyone who came out and made us feel a little famous for the day. Thank you so much!! You helped to make an important day a heartwarming one too! Also to everyone who stumbled upon us and liked our book enough to buy it we thank you too. We sold 54 copies which is quite alot for an event such as this.

Now just a week and a half until Fan Expo! At this rate we won’t be taking time off until November!

PS:) Lara has finally been able to commit herself fulltime to the business of JDS productions. She will be leaving her day job at the end of this month and will now be able to devote her time to her family and her art. We are very excited about this!

Beware of Frog

After years in production, Jaded Dragon Studios is very excited to announce it’s first publication, BEWARE OF FROG! All of those close to us know that the road has been long indeed but finally the day has arrived!


Beware of Frog is a fully illustrated and brightly coloured graphic novel geared towards 5 to 12 year olds. Professionally bound and printed, Beware of Frog would be a great addition to the reading repertoire of any boy or girl with a love for adventure stories! Beware of Frog is a cautionary tale that teaches one little boy that the strange “beware of frog” sign on the old house on the end of the street might really mean what it says.

Projects update

We just thought it would be cool to post some of the progress we’ve been making on the projects we mentioned in our last update.

Indie game: Salad Time!

We are meeting on a weekly basis with our programming guru, Xave to flesh out our first foray into the independant game scene. We are very excited about trying our hand at this end of the visual industry. Here is some of the concept art floating around. Enjoy!



Pirates of Pepperpot Point

Paul is completing three finished illstrations for a children’s book which will be used by the author to help shop her manuscript around to some publishers. Here is the finished cover illustration:

In other news we are in the process of having our artwork and merchandise for sale in two stores. Also we are on the cusp of finishing our own online store!
