Art-O-Con was a lot of fun and the turnout was quite good for a first time event like ours. We all had the best time interacting with all of our guests and artists. We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated; you helped make this event one filled with creativity and talent! We are already in the beginning stages of looking for a bigger venue for 2013 so keep your ears to the ground. we are thrilled to be able to give back to the indie art community in Burlington and hope that everyone who came had a great time too.

On Sunday May 6th stormtroopers, ghostbusters and a Dalek will descend upon Burlington and help Jaded Dragon Studios celebrate the talent of local artists and artisans.

Convention and sale

2011 was an amazing year for JDS but 2012 is setting out to outdo it already! We are hosting our own event and it has been named Art-O-Con. We have already signed on over twenty artists/vendors and are adding more as I type this! Also we have booked awesome guests for photo ops and to entertain the kids! Members of the 501st Legion will be there in full costume. The Ontario Ghostbusters will be present too and in full gear. A real live Dalek will be roaming the show looking for humans to EXTERMINATE!!

Wolfsbane

Also, Paul has just finished the cover for our new book project; Wolfsbane. We plan to have this 52 page graphic novel printed and ready to put on the table at Fan Expo 2012! Here is a sneak peek!
